We take clients through a guided discovery process to determine the types of works that best meet their needs, discuss their short and long-term collecting goals, and review logistics such as budget, timeline, and desired level of involvement.
We provide a personalized acquisition strategy and recommended list of artists and works to consider. We curate this based on our extensive and ongoing research and involvement with artists, galleries, art fairs and universities.
Our acquisition services vary according to client preferences and range from guided studio, gallery and art fair visits; works installed in a client’s space prior to purchase; or a “do it yourself” package for clients who only need our assessment and discovery services. We negotiate pricing on behalf of all of our clients and oversee private commissions.
We can handle all related services that accompany the purchase of a new work of art, including framing, transportation, and installation. We also work with clients on giving their existing works of art a "refresh" through framing and placement. We maintain close relationships with reputable appraisers, conservators, and storage facilities.
We are experienced at working with corporate art programs and can offer services beyond acquisitions including project management, temporary installations and exhibitions, community outreach and other customized services based on the client’s needs.
We offer intimate curated chauffeured tours during the annual East Austin Studio Tours (EAST) organized by Big Medium each November. Interested in a private tour for a group of friends or clients? We will work with you to customize private tours of galleries, studios, art fairs and art spaces for groups of 12 people or less throughout the year and can accommodate tours in Austin, Central Texas, San Antonio, Houston, Dallas, Marfa and NYC.
